WCAG and JISC certification

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define the requirements for designers and developers to improve the accessibility of digital content for people with disabilities. Today, Wooclap's participant interface is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA, and we are continuously working on its improvement. Wooclap also meets the accessibility criteria of the JISC in the UK.

Compatible with screen readers

We are continuously working on improving the readability of all our content to enable people who "have trouble reading" (blind, severely visually impaired, dyslexic, dyspraxic...) to interact easily with our application. The participant interface is fully adapted to screen readers.

Alternative text for images and videos

When you add a video or an image to a question, you can add text which describes its content, in order to make this content accessible to all. This can be a description of an image or a written transcription of the video. You can also directly add Youtube videos which already satisfy the accessibility criteria.
